Parks, Recreation & Community Services
The Middletown Township Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services, is responsible for the conservation and preservation of open space and natural resources, the use and maintenance of all Township recreation facilities, parks and open space. The department provides recreation programs and events that meet the needs and interests of the residents, contribute to the health and well being of the community and encourage a sense of community pride and identity.
Department staff manages public use of the Community Center, Community Park Barn and Municipal Center, manages the solid waste collection and recycling programs, assists the volunteers on the Parks and Recreation Board, Community Beautification Committee, Environmental Advisory Council, Historic Preservation Committee and 4th of July Parade Committee.
