With the predicted snow storm for this weekend, all residents should be advised of the following Township policies and safety recommendations:

  • Clear snow away from any fire hydrant that is on your property
  • Vehicles CANNOT be parked on the street from one hour after snow begins to fall until twelve hours after the snowfall ends – violators are subject to receiving a ticket
  • Do not place any trash containers on the street – please keep the roadways clear so snowplows can get through
  • State roads are maintained by PennDOT. To report an issue on a state road, please call 1-800-FIX-ROAD. A list of state roads within Middletown Township can be seen here
  • Make a plan for how your family will handle a snow emergency, and stay indoors as much as possible
  • If you lose power, you should report it to PECO by calling 1-800-841-4141
